With the advent of new technology, more and more people are introduced to the use of Internet. Undeniably, majority surf as part of a routine, as we've learned to trust online sources. Indeed, the use of the Internet has become a part of life activity. It is even considered the fastest, easiest, and most convenient source of information since you will be presented with a lot of information that you are looking for on any topic you want in just one click. However useful and convenient it may seem, we cannot deny the fact that there are times when we are annoyed by ads/programs which are not relevant to what we are looking for in the Internet.

Spyware is widely accepted as an encroachment of privacy. So how does this spyware actually reach your computer? Spyware can be installed in your computer(PC) via any program or software you download in your machine, while surfing the net. In most cases, you will not realize that you have installed something unwanted until things start going wrong or rather start smelling fishy (not literally, though!). What you need here is a spyware removal program to help you out.

To deter spyware, computer users have found several practices useful in addition to installing anti-spyware programs. Many programmers and some commercial firms have released products designed to remove or block spyware. Spyware Blocker is the program, which detects, cleans and blocks program codes that closely are related to spy on trends of computer usage. The main strategy of Spyware blocker is three way: first is detection, second is removal and signature generation, third is real time and run time protection. The Windows anti-Spyware in such case,  match the pattern of event generated and set the parameters. These parameters are included in newer versions of anti spyware or sent as updates to previous subscribers. With this, the registries and system files are constantly made to be in safe conditions. Windows anti Spy software recognizes such auto events and user-generated events. Spyware Blocker does act like a watcher. Your email attachment from your friend who has infected PC is another way the Spy-ware could land you on crisis. Result is a treacherous program that refuses to delete itself..

The user is usually attracted by the display of Spy programs like talking animated characters flashing on screen. The event that such software evokes is creating a redirect to their sponsored address, without consent of the user making the user confused regarding how to block this. Indeed you need some good anti spyware in such cases. The companies have implemented very smart system to block Spyware of such types to regularly trace the signatures through Spy-ware blockers as soon as the computer starts up.

All the auto events are cancelled or warned about by the Spy-ware blocker even if the user is deliberately allowed to install. However, if the user still wishes to go further then further check is done. Regardless of all the practices, the regular scan and optimization of personal knowledge is also an advantage to block the Spy-ware.

On the other hand, The Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool checks computers running Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2000, and Windows Server 2003 for infections by specific, prevalent malicious software—including Blaster, Sasser, and Mydoom—and helps remove any infection found. When the detection and removal process is complete, the tool displays a report describing the outcome, including which, if any, malicious software was detected and removed.

Microsoft releases an updated version of this tool on the second Tuesday of each month, and as needed to respond to security incidents. The tool is available from Microsoft Update, Windows Update and the Microsoft Download Center. Because computers can appear to function normally when infected, Microsoft advises you to run this tool even if your computer seems to be fine. You should also use up-to-date antivirus software to help protect your computer from other malicious software.

Still, what's important is to remember this: Before engaging the use of a spyware remover, you should try removing the problematic software to the best of your ability. Start by clearing your browser cache and any temporary files. Many bits of spyware hide out in these places since in a production environment it's important to clean out every crevice.
